Born London 16th February 1931

1947 - Attends Byam Shaw School of Art, St Martin's School of Art and Chelsea School of Art. Influenced by Peter Greenham 

1949 - Exhibits at New English Art Exhibition, London.

1950 - Moves to Switzerland and afterwards travels extensively in Europe.
Exhibits in Rome and Spoleto in Festival of Two Worlds.
Teaches art and directs art school in Frascati.


1965 - Moves to U.S.A.

1966 - Exhibits at University of Maryland.
Travels in Caribbean.
Teaches art in Tortola, B. Virgin Islands.


1970 - Returns to Europe, painting and selling from Studio in Paris.

1978 - Moves to Vidauban in the commune of la Garde-Freinet


1979 - Exhibits at Galerie Etienne de Causans, Paris.

1980 - Moves to South of France.
Exhibits at Galerie d'Azalea, Bologna, Galerie Dauphinoise, St. Maxime.

1985 - Visits Seychelles Islands.
Five paintings and a collage in the collection of Museum of Modern Art, Mahe, Seychelles.

1987 - Having separated, moves to England with sculptor Lynn Chadwick, produced her white paintings.
Exhibits at Cleveland Bridge Gallery, Bath.

1988 - Ten paintings shown at CCA Galleries, London and Bath.
Working for proposed exhibition in London and Japan organised by CCA Galleries.

1989 - CCA Gallery London.
Roupel St Gallery London.

1990 - Le Lézard la Garde-Freinet, France.

1990 - Viviane Couttenier.
